My boys have a pair of long-tailed lizards which have been living happily on a diet of small crickets for several months. Since the small crickets have been in short supply recently, we've supplimented their diet with some meal worms on occasion (with the heads cut off). I've considered feeding the lizards Box Elder Beetles, since there are thousands of them swarming on our house, but my wife seems to remember an article a while back that said insects like Box Elder Beetles and Lighting Bugs were poisonous to lizards. Is that correct, or what. Thanks for your help.
