I am a junior at Muhlenberg College, and I am a biology major. I am currently beginning a research project with Dr. Meier, and I will work to use the RAPD-PCR technique on wood frogs from several nearby ponds in order to create a means of genetic comparison. As I am currenlty in the process of creating, researching, and solidifying a set technique for this project, I was hoping that if anyone had any suggestions as to specific protocol to use when using this technique on frogs or as to specific primers that have proven successful on these or related organisms, that you may be able to send me some information or contact me. I would greatly appreciate any help in this stage of the process where I am still gathering information and ideas from a wide spectrum of sources.
