ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR ICHTHYOLOGY.
The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at
Georgia College and State University seeks candidates in
the area of Ichthyology. A Ph.D. in ichthyology or a related
field such as zoology is required for this tenure-track
position. The successful candidate will teach introductory
courses in biology as well as upper and graduate level
courses in ichthyology and other subjects specific to their
research. We especially seek candidates with interests
in field, evolutionary, or systematic ichthyology.
Effective teaching, scholarship, and univeristy/community
service are required for pormotion and tenure. Starting
salary will be commensurate with qualifications/experience.
Starting date is August 2002. Review of applications
will begin November 12, 2001, and will continue until the
position is filled. Submit letter of application, curriculum
