ASIH Annual Meetings

IMPORTANT 2002 MEETING ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. Abstract submission is CLOSED. The deadline was 11 March 2002 and we are no longer accepting submissions or changes.
   
2. We have accepted and scheduled 738 papers and posters. The meeting venue promises to be an excellent one and will easily support the scientific program spread across 5 days (4 symposia, 49 contributed paper sessions, three poster sessions). The poster sessions are scheduled in the late afternoon and there is minimal overlap of oral papers and posters.
   
3. The meeting site at the Westin is very close to a variety of attractions that will be of interest to scientists and accompanying persons. Please visit the website (www.dce.ksu.edu/dce/cl/2002jointmeeting) to get additional information about Kansas City.
   
4. A schedule for the papers and posters will be posted on websites by mid April 2002.
   
5. If you must cancel your presentation, please notify Mo Donnelly (asih@fiu.edu) by 1 June 2002. FAILURE OF NOTIFICATION SHALL RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF PRESENTATION PRIVILEGES FOR ONE YEAR (I.E., IF YOU FAIL TO NOTIFY US OF CANCELLATION IN 2002, YOU WILL NOT PRESENT IN 2003). We recognize that emergencies will come up and we will handle those situations as they arise.
